Carolina for Kibera Prepares Social Work Grad for Career in Nonprofit Work

When Julie Goldberg (MSW '11) left for Kenya on June 12, she was embarking on the final leg of a year-long internship that the recent master of social work graduate says has prepared her for a career in nonprofit work. Since the summer of 2010, Goldberg has worked as a program assistant for Carolina for Kibera (CFK), an international nonprofit affiliated with the UNC Center for Global Initiatives.
