North Carolina State University will lead a new high-tech manufacturing hub on campus, collaborating with businesses and universities to develop next-generation power electronics. The Department of Energy is granting $70 million over five years, and participating businesses, universities, and the state will match that amount. The state of North Carolina has committed a minimum of $10 million throughout five years.
