Game Day Challenge

The Game Day Challenge is a friendly competition between universities nation-wide to reduce, reuse, and recycle as much as possible at one home football game. The Environmental Affairs Committee and Office of Waste Reduction and Recycling have teamed up to enter UNC for the Homecoming Game on Saturday! We need volunteers at all of the Kenan Stadium Gates as people enter and exit the game, and on the concourse throughout. Volunteers will be wearing UNC Recycles shirts, monitoring recycle bins, potentially holding signs and just encouraging everyone to recycle (and making sure they recycle the right things!).

The game is split up into 2 shifts, the first and second half, and we hope that everyone can be at the gates and around the stadium during half time. They really need some people that want to see a portion of the TONS of waste be diverted on Saturday. If you sign up, you'll receive an e-mail Friday night with more specifics and will meet just before the game or during half time depending on your shift to make sure everyone knows what to do!

If you want to be a part of the Challenge, e-mail:
Chelsea Woodfin at woodfin@live.unc.edu or
Logan Mauney at lcmauney@live.unc.edu

AND sign up on this document!
