The Town of Chapel Hill is looking for volunteers for Earth Action Day and their Egg Hunt Celebration.
There are currently two events for which volunteers are needed:
Egg Hunt Celebration

Volunteer hours: 8am-1pm
Earth Action Day
Saturday, April 14, 2012
Volunteer hours: 9am-1pm/12pm-5pm/4pm-8pm
Some of the volunteer opportunities:
Event Monitor: Work alongside staff to help vendors set up/breakdown booth spaces and oversee vendors in event area.
Fair Information: Man fair information; answer questions from the public; pass out programs, surveys, ballots, etc.
Vendor Entry/Exit/Traffic: Work alongside staff to guide vendors to booth spaces; assist with parking and traffic control.
Stage Assistant: Work alongside staff to ensure entertainment runs on schedule; assist with staging needs.
Kids Area: Help set up kids activities; oversee kids activities during event including helping with crafts and games.
Event Specific: Each event has special needs that must be addressed; this could include recycling collection, assisting event managers, helping with event specific activities, etc.
