Stormwater Management Conference Accepting Abstracts

The APWA-NC Chapter seeks abstracts on water quality and stormwater management for its annual conference, scheduled for September 17-18, in Asheville, NC. Deadline for submissions is June 13.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS - SUBMIT BY JUNE 13, 2012 

The APWA-NC Stormwater Management Division Conference will be returning to beautiful Asheville in 2012! The Conference has been scheduled for September 17-18 at the Crowne Plaza Tennis & Golf Resort. Issues and concerns related to water quality and stormwater management continue to play a significant role in the world of public works, shaping technical focus and policy throughout government and private industry. The field of stormwater management is changing every day, and what better place than Asheville to ensure that you remain abreast of the latest developments in the industry in 2012. Join us as we once again provide a variety of learning opportunities in a fun and friendly atmosphere. 

If you have an idea for a presentation topic or case study involving the stormwater industry, regulatory compliance, program management, innovative engineering or technology, or any other topic which is relevant to the stormwater community, please submit an abstract to blair.hinkle@rockymountnc.gov by Wednesday, June 13, 2012. 

Please limit abstracts to one page and be sure to include your contact information. Also, please feel free to forward this email to any and all of your contacts in the stormwater community. We look forward to receiving your ideas, and can't wait to see you at the conference!
