The UNC Institute for the Environment (IE) seeks a temporary half-time administrative support associate for experiential education programming. The position will assist with the recruitment, selection, coordination and monitoring of energy and IE field site interns across the state, as well as provide general support to IE experiential education staff.
This position is made possible by a grant through the North Carolina State Energy Office to develop an energy related internship and fellowship program for currently enrolled UNC-CH undergraduate and master’s level students. Strong communication and management skills as well as knowledge of UNC educational programming preferred. An average of 20 hours per week at $15/hr will be required. Position is time limited, ending March 31, 2012.
