Under the leadership of Facilities Services' Office of Waste Reduction and Recycling and the Sustainability Office, major campus-wide waste reduction initiatives have been undertaken. There have been numerous sustainable policies, practices, and curricula introduced and championed. The Carolina Green Events Program is an initiative developed by the two offices that helps individuals planning an event to ensure it is more sustainable and less wasteful.
